Since 1986 ART ON THE MOVE has been providing funding support and management expertise for the development of touring exhibitions of contemporary art across the state of Western Australia, inter-state and internationally.

ART ON THE MOVE is an Incorporated Association with metropolitan and regional galleries, exhibition venues,
arts organisations and individuals as members.

Nalda Searles - Drifting in My Own Land in Esperance.

Drifting in My Own Land is an exhibition of recent artwork made from recycled and natural materials, by prominent WA fibre-textiles artist Nalda Searles. The exhibition is an expression of identity in relation to physical and social landscape.

2010-08-26 - Nalda Searles - Drifting in My Own Land in Esperance.

Nalda Searles - Drifting in My Own Land will open at the Cannery Arts Centre on September 2 and will show until October 17. This exhibition is an inspiring and fascinating insight into the mind of one of Western Australia's senior, most respected practitioners. The artist will be present at the gallery for the opening on Sept 2 and talks for school groups on Friday Sept 3.

2010-06-28 - Inspiring memorial exhibition to the Pinjarra Massacre of 1834

The Pinjarra Massacre Memorial exhibition will move to the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery in August. This spectacular show sheds light on the tragic massacre of Bindjareb Nyungars by white settlers in Pinjarra in 1834. It features the work of some of Australia's foremost Indigenous artists.

2010-06-28 - See spectacular images of the earth from the air

Abstract Earth, Richard Woldendorp's stunning exhibition of aerial photography, opened at the WA Museum Albany on August 5 and will be on show until mid-September. The images in this exhibition will inspire viewers to see the Australian landscape in a new way.

ART ON THE MOVE has announced the 2010 closing date for applications for funding the development and touring of contemporary art exhibitions. This date is Monday September 27, 2010.
