Professional Development and Training Information
ART ON THE MOVE provides a comprehensive professional development program designed to meet the needs of venue staff and volunteers. Workshops are held at up to six exhibition venues per year across the state. Each venue receives a fully tailored program suited to individual needs and delivered in the venue. A typical program is run by experienced industry professionals over a two day period, and is complemented by visual presentations, training manuals and crated artworks to ensure participants receive a dynamic, hands on experience to develop new skills or refresh existing ones. ART ON THE MOVE are also able to advise on many technical aspects of venues including, lighting, hanging systems, and crate handling equipment.
